‘Geek Night’ (whatever that is) aside, my vote goes to Taboo.

Taboo is a good co-operative game, with geniune skill but without too must risk of a team ‘swamping another’ (good balance), I agree. But my vote has to go for Tigris & Euphrates, which is a stunning German board game. But then, aren’t all German board games that are considered worthy of translation great?
