For World Book Day (which here in the UK is marked a month earlier than the rest of the world) the kids' school invited people to come "dressed as a word".
As usual, the kids and teachers participated along with only around two other adults. But of course I was one of them.
This year, I was "magical".

Normal for Children
The natural state of a child is to assume that their upbringing, their family, and thier community is representative and normal, so we all end up growing up with learned "quirks" that we don't discover until they're challenged. How many do you still harbour?

When his 7-year-old asks Dan to print some crib from Usborne's Spy's Guidebook, he goes one step further and reimplements the cipher in Javascript.

The Bobstacle Course
For 'School at Home' this lockdown, this 7 y/o's PE teacher challenged her to "build an obstacle course".

With help from Robin, the kids produce a puppet show of Jack and the Beanstalk.
