After some pestering by KateEvery, I came up here on my lunch break. Between hordes of muggles a reasonably easy find. TFTC.

Damn! The moment I arrived, a queue of boats mysteriously appeared to use the lock. AND the lock was set the wrong way to begin with. Hung around looking inconspicuous and chatting to folks for a few minutes then gave up… for now!

Hunted for a bit, then came online to look for recent logs. Found the new hint, but that still didn’t help me. Can only one place close to the GZ that fits the description, and couldn’t find the cache. Got thoroughly nestled, though! :-(
Maybe another day.

Great cache, great hiding place. My coordinates were about 15m off but the terrain rating (and the hint) set me straight. Wasn’t as hard as I’d expected (hoped?), but still a nice change from the usual terrain challenge of the caches I attempt! Lovely spot. TFTC!

Looking around I could see hundreds of good hiding places, but my intuition guided me well and I found my way right to the cache. Looking across the canal and the fields beyond, I can just about make out the Sainsburys where I do my weekly shopping! TFTC.

Probably my favourite of Oxford’s museums, and well worth a flyby on my way home from work today to double-check that the marks outside really were what I thought. TFTC.

Beautifully, deviously hidden. This is what I love about geocaching. Thanks for the cache.

Hurrah! Second time lucky on this one, for me: the one on the Route Canal series that I most-wanted to find after my previous ill-fated run. TFTC.

Nice hiding spot! Cache lid a little loose-fitting, and wasn’t closed properly when I found it, but I’ve tried to put it back on as firmly as possible now. TFTC.

Second time lucky! The woman in the shop was watching me with suspicion, so I had to wait until she was distracted by a customer before I moved the obstacles between me and the cache. Nice hiding place!
