I cycle right by here virtually every day, but every time I think to look this way it’s late afternoon and the muggles are out in force. Today, though, I left for work a little earlier
than normal and so managed to get here before the place was crawling with them. Lid of the cache was very tight, but got there in the end. TFTC!
Probably a stupid question, but I almost never use iPlayer. This time last year, I had to dig out my (small-but-digital-capable) television from the attic and hook it up, at the last
minute, rather than watching on the large-but-not-digital television attached to my computer.
So what I’m asking is: is iPlayer going to work, or should I start trying to dig through the boxes in my attic to find the television that’s up there?
Hunted for a bit, then came online to look for recent logs. Found the new hint, but that still didn’t help me. Can only one place close to the GZ that fits the description, and couldn’t
find the cache. Got thoroughly nestled, though! :-(
Damn! The moment I arrived, a queue of boats mysteriously appeared to use the lock. AND the lock was set the wrong way to begin with. Hung around looking inconspicuous and chatting to
folks for a few minutes then gave up… for now!
Probably my favourite of Oxford’s museums, and well worth a flyby on my way home from work today to double-check that the marks outside really were what I thought. TFTC.
Looking around I could see hundreds of good hiding places, but my intuition guided me well and I found my way right to the cache. Looking across the canal and the fields beyond, I can
just about make out the Sainsburys where I do my weekly shopping! TFTC.
Great cache, great hiding place. My coordinates were about 15m off but the terrain rating (and the hint) set me straight. Wasn’t as hard as I’d expected (hoped?), but still a nice
change from the usual terrain challenge of the caches I attempt! Lovely spot. TFTC!
