A little damp underfoot here, but at least I didn’t have to stand in it for long: an easy find.

I lost my pen somewhere in this meadow, but thankfully I was able to find a somewhat-blunt pencil in my pocket with which to sign the log.

Getting even boggier underfoot now! How is this possible of such a sunny day?

Good hiding spot. Despite the adjoining field’s clear recent use, this cache had remained completely undisturbed!

Looks like some recent work has taken place to repair this fence (in fact, spare fence posts and tools were still lying about!), and I was worried that the cache night have been muggled, but there it was, in exactly the kind of spot I’ve learned to expect from this series!

Okay: I made a HUGE mistake heading to this one. Somehow I must have ended up on the wrong path, because I found myself on an abandoned footpath (definitely a footpath, though: the stone walls it crossed had stiles), heavily overgrown and increasingly flooded! Eventually I had to give up and change course, hacking my way through 7-foot nettles to rejoin the main path. Should’ve brought a machete! Got to the cache in the end, though!

As I got closer to this cache, I discovered that it was on the other side of the fence to me. It can’t have been placed on private land so far from the public footpath, surely, I thought. And then I realised: it was I who was on the wrong side of the fence. Whoops! Quickly corrected my mistake, then found this lovely cache very easily. TFTC!

I really love the woodland trail that brought me to this cache. I feel sorry for anybody who tries to cache-and-dash this and so misses out!

Can barely see the plant mentioned by name in the hint, this hedge is so overgrown!

Nice easy find. No sign of the travel bug, though: must’ve already moved on…

Looked in the wrong place for a while, then checked the hint, then kicked myself for not looking there sooner. This road seemed deserted too, so I discretely relieved myself in the field before pressing on.

Hint confused me here, because I misunderstood it and I thought it was self-contradictory. Then I worked out what was meant, and found it instantly. Whoops!
