Escape from an extremely boring lecture whose content you know and understand anyway, after signing the register, by the much fabled “slip under your the desk at the back row of the lecture theatre, then crawl under your seat, out the fire exit, and away to freedom” technique, and spend the next two days having people perpetually insisting that they be permitted to shake your hand, because it was such a cool manouver.
The ‘cool and interesting things’ were originally published to a location at which my “friends back home” could read them, during the first few months of my time at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, which I started in September 1999. It proved to be particularly popular, and so now it is immortalised through the medium of my weblog.
