Answer These With Song Titles…

Alec has a thing going on his blog where he’s challenging people to answer questions about themselves in terms of song titles. Go have a look, see my response, and have a go yourself, here.

Went to Booker Cash & Carry this afternoon, and bought just over 3kg of Sherbert Lemons and a little less of Dew Drops. Fun!

Burger King Love Us

A new-looking manager (young, with a shiny badge) is making Changes at the Burger King around the corner from us. From Monday, the entire restaurant will become No Smoking (yay!), and the old upstairs toilets – once closed owing to vandalism – have been re-opened. Claire and I were in there this evening, discussing our comparative days (mine at work, hers learning Japanese), and met the new-looking manager, who gave us vouchers each, redeemable for free meals there in future. Nice.

New Troma Night Website Up-And-Running

The new Troma Night website is now up and running. All existing Stars are requested to go and register for the new site to retain their Star status. And give suggestions for Saturday’s films while you’re there, using the new “What Shall We Watch?” feature.

And see you all Saturday!

Back In Aber

As expected, I had very little internet access over the Christmas period. And now I’m back in Aber. Mozilla reports 688 new e-mails. Joy.

Will say more when I can be arsed. I came back here from Lancashire via Merseyside and Norfolk. That’s a fair journey by anyone’s standards.

Hugz;

Out Of Place

Something feels out of place. Probably just the time of year, the amount of work I have to do, etc. The only good thing about working as long hours at work as I have been is the anticipation of how healthy my next paycheque ought to be. Which it’ll need to be, because I’ll be penniless by then.

Gonna play some Super Mario World on the SNES emulator I downloaded and try not to get too stressed and start snapping at people again. Must de-stress!

Hugz, ye’all;

Worst 100 Films Of All Time

IMDB provide a list of the worst 100 films of all time, as rated by their visitors. I particularly enjoyed the fact that four of the Police Academy movies made it into the list. In other words, Police Acadamy films are responsible for 4% of the Worst 100 Films Ever. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody.

A Most Unlikely Couple

It turns out that two people I know have become a couple, in what is perhaps the most unlikely relationship I could ever imagine. I’ll not say who they are, here, but it’s quite funny.

Claire: X and Y are toghether now.
Dan: X? And Y?
Claire: Yeh. That’s what I thought.
Bryn: Hang on… X [surname]…
Claire: Yup.
Bryn: And Y [surname]…
Claire: Yup.
Dan: Well; it sounds to me like a match made in… Disneyland.

Warning: Extreme Geek Humour

Sat in Burger King…

Bryn: So many nice things come in .deb packages…
Dan: Yeh. Except for some nice things which still come in nasty RPM-shaped packages.
Bryn: I’m not even sure I have an RPM package manager installed.
Dan: I’m sure you can ‘apt-get’ one.

Oh; how we laughed.
