Coordinates seemed solid, hint item seemed clear, but a good feel around didn't reveal anything to me except an alarming sign I had to walk past! (pictured)nnThen a man with kids and a dog came along and we needed to keep moving. Not sure where this could be hidden that I didn't already check!

Being between jobs, I decided to offer the geohound a longer then usual walk this morning and clear my head before an application form I need to fill out. We opted for the first leg of this series: let's see how far the little pooch's legs will carry her! Cache found easily, SL, TFTC.

Found GC47GDB Kiln Crag - Knipescar
A bit of an adventure! I first approached this cliffside cache from above, which turned out to be a mistake, but a climb from below was also initially fruitless because the cache had fallen from its hiding place, perhaps some time this winter. Delightful fun.

Never one to let a hard day's voluntary work keep me from a geocaching expedition, this afternoon I took a hot brisk walk up the scar to find this (and hopefully next another nearby!) cache. Caught my breath sitting on a rock near the GZ, before pressing on. SL, TNLN, TFTC. FP awarded for such a delightful spot.

A swift uphill scramble for my friend and fellow volunteer John and I, before dinner. We're staying in a nearby farmhouse for a week if volunteer work, writing software to help charities. Beautiful view from the summit this evening! SL, TNLN, TFTC!

As others have observed, this is a bit challenging right now owing to the hoardings that have been erected in the way. But like others, I found a gap in the fence through which I was able to photograph the sculpture. TFTC!
