In the meantime, I think we should carry on planting trees, while being careful about planting them in the “wrong areas.” This is because:

(a) I like trees.

(b) We’re probably going to end up having to burn wood or otherwise use biofuels within my lifetime. I’d like it if they were on my doorstep.
